Sierra Vista Labrador Retreiver Club is located in
Northern California in the Sacramento Valley area.
Our Club has a yearly Labrador specialty that is held
Labor Day Weekend.
We also have obedience workshops, field training days,
and occasionally we hold Working Certificate testing.
The Objectives of SVLRC are:
To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Labrador
Retrievers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;
To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed
as approved by the American Kennel Club as the standard by which the Labrador
Retriever shall be judged;
To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the
breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience
trials, and hunting tests as well as encouraging mutual support and good
fellowship among members at all times;
To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the
breed by encouraging members and breeders to practice humane treatment
and to provide sanitary conditions for their dogs at all times;
To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, obedience trials,
and hunt tests under the rules of American Kennel Club.
